Cecily Mahan, 1st Violinist
Cecily has a bachelor degree in music performance and working towards a masters degree in education. She teaches strings in the Shawnee Mission School District. She arranges selections for the quartet and is our piano accompanist.

LaVonne McDaniel, 2nd Violinist
LaVonne has both bachelor and a master degree in violin performance. She has a private Suzuki violin studio with over 50 violin students in addition to her time conducting the chamber orchestra at the Mid-America Nazerine College music department.

Laura Myers, Violist,
Laura played and studied with Dr. Kimber, the University of Kansas viola professor, while pursuing a degree in civil engineering. She has taught violin and viola in addition to playing in numerous community orchestras. She currently is the principle violist for the Overland Park Community Orchestra. Laura is the business manager for SSQ and is a civil engineer with a local consulting firm.

Amy Harris, Cellist,
Amy has both a bachelor and master degree in music performance. She has also worked toward her Doctorate. Amy has numerous cello students and is an accomplished musician.
